3D Modelling
For my content creation class, I created a 3D modeling asset for a VR escape-chamber adventure game set in an overgrown, disused power plant. Inspired by The Walking Dead and Uncharted, the game combines outdoor adventure with confined spaces and pressure, aimed at players aged 18-40 who enjoy problem solving and adventure.
Ensuring consistency of quality across all properties is important for a beautifully designed final product. This includes maintaining a high level of documentation in dealing with items such as the electrical box, electrical wiring, house, and details such as the crowded fur of the dog Ongoing effort and attention to detail throughout ensures a cohesive and professional look.
Communication within the environment is important. Fixing the atmosphere ensures that the whole scene feels cohesive and authentic. A consistent and well-integrated backdrop enhances both the visual and immersive experience.
Attention to the surfaces adds to the beauty. Realism can be added by reducing excessive floor light and expanding the texture and depth of the floor. This flexibility helps create an engaging and life-like environment for users.
Actually placing assets in the final state is very important. Objects such as the dog and the house should not appear to be floating but should be integrated seamlessly into the scene. Appropriateness and positioning help create a believable and immersive world.
The combination of technical excellence and creative execution creates a stunning final product. Accurate and relevant content, combined with creative elements such as 3D modeling and video, expands the vision of the final product. This blend of creativity and technology makes for exciting and engaging storytelling.
